Tuesday Jan 26, 2021
Reel Poetry with Tarandeep review 2017 film Love Beats Rhymes (starring Jill Scott, Azealia Banks, Common, and John David Washington). The main question, Is rap poetry?, is a good talking point but the movie doesn't dive into it as much and deals a lot of clichés with the cast.

Iambic Poetry podcast present REEL POETRY
The Reel Poets review the 2011 independent file, Speak to me in poetry, a movie about a shy guy who make a wish to talk like a poet. This movie got the chatter going and the Reel poets angry at CharRon watching this. From the acting, screenwriting, lighting, and ethnical appropriation; the director should listen to what not to do again. But we do find one spark of Light about mental health.
